We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to make changes or modifications to this Agreement at any time and for any reason. We will keep you informed about any changes by updating this Agreement and you waive any right to receive specific notice of each such change. It is your responsibility to periodically review this Agreement to stay informed of updates. You will be subject to, and will be deemed to be aware of and to have accepted, the changes in any revised Agreement by your continued use of the Bug Identifier app after the date such revised Agreement is posted.
The Bug Identifier app provides AI-powered identification services for insects. Our service analyzes photographs to identify and provide information about the items you photograph.
Important Disclaimer: While we strive for accuracy, our AI identification service is for educational and informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of identifications, valuations, or authenticity assessments. For professional appraisals, authentication, or valuation services, please consult qualified professionals.
To access unlimited identification services, users need to purchase a premium subscription.
a. Current subscription options, prices, renewal terms, and any free-trial terms are displayed in the app before purchase and are billed and managed through your App Store account. Unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period, subscriptions renew automatically, and free trials convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your app-store account settings.
While premium users have access to unlimited identification services, fair usage policies may apply. To ensure a high-quality experience for all users, rate limits may be implemented if usage significantly exceeds typical patterns. These limits are designed to be generous and should not impact regular usage.
b. We reserve the right to change the pricing, subscription terms, or benefits associated with in-app purchases. Any such changes will be communicated through the app or on our website.
We reserve the right to limit the number of identification requests for free users and may change or terminate our services at any time. Users are responsible for ensuring they have the right to photograph and analyze any items they submit for identification.
You retain all ownership rights in the photographs you submit to the app. By submitting a photograph, you grant Picture Vision Studio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for example, to crop, resize, or anonymize), and display that photograph for the purposes of: (a) operating and providing the identification service; (b) improving and training our identification models; and (c) displaying selected photographs in anonymized form as identification examples on our websites and in our marketing materials, subject to the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to any photograph you submit and that it does not infringe the intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights of any third party. You may request the removal of any photograph published as an identification example at any time by contacting us at [email protected].
Your privacy is very important to us. Accordingly, we have developed the Privacy Policy in order for you to understand how we process, use and store information including personal data and photographs. Access to the Bug Identifier app and use of the Services is subject to the Privacy Policy. By accessing the app and by continuing to use the Services, you are deemed to have accepted the Privacy Policy, and in particular, you are deemed to have acknowledged the ways we process your information as well as appropriate legal grounds for processing described in the Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to amend the Privacy Policy from time to time. If you disagree with any part of the Privacy Policy, you must immediately stop using the app and Services. The Bug Identifier app may contain links to or integrations with third-party services, including AI analysis providers and educational content sources. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms of use.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Bug Identifier app at our sole discretion, without notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the app for identification services will immediately cease.
The Bug Identifier app is provided "as is" and "as available," without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure. We disclaim all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Our identification services are for educational purposes only and should not replace professional appraisal or authentication services.
We are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from your use of the Bug Identifier app, including but not limited to decisions made based on our identification results, valuation estimates, or educational content. Users should exercise their own judgment and consult professionals for important decisions.
